What are we reading?

Oh it’s just a little book I wrote (actually the first of its kind) Applied Anatomy of Aerial Arts – the first anatomy book specifically for aerialists!

It’s all about optimizing performance and training safely to keep you doing more of what you love. If you’ve wondered more about anatomy and biomechanics specifically how your body works when it is hanging, inverting, climbing, or doing a hip key this book is for you!

I also break down common injury causes, how to recognize them, what to do if you have one, and tips on how to prevent injuries from occurring.

AND you’ll also find out which exercises are my favorites for aerialists and why!

If you’re excited about getting nerdy and understanding the circus body and movement better, then grab your copy and read along. I’ll be answering your questions and giving you more insights chapter by chapter. 

If you haven’t already been reading along with us, don’t be shy to jump in even if you’re “behind”. Come as you are! You can always go back and catch up as needed. I promise, even if you’ve missed some introductory information you will still be able to gain a ton of new knowledge! What’s that saying?…  “Don’t make perfect the enemy of good enough.”? Yeah! That’s exactly how I want you to view expanding your aerial anatomy knowledge!
