Brett Whyborn is the Director of Performance Medicine at Cirque du Soleil where he leads a global team dedicated to supporting the health, safety, and peak performance of more than 1,500 world-class artists across Cirque’s productions.
Originally from Perth, Australia, and a graduate of Notre Dame University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Brett brings over a decade of experience spanning private practice, public health, and elite sports. Since joining Cirque in 2014, his work has focused on innovative strategies for injury prevention, rehabilitation, emergency response, and high-performance support in complex, high-demand environments. A certified Emergency Response Trainer with the American Red Cross, Brett is also actively involved in mentoring and education within his field.
